I hope this message finds you all in good spirits and enjoying the great summer we have had thus far. I want to thank you all for the time and effort that goes into making this group and industry a great place for everyone. I have enjoyed my time as chair, even if it was unexpectedly extended due to Covid. I look forward to working with this group to continue our goals of giving back to the local industry, engaging the youth, and those outside the industry.
No matter where you stand 2021 has offered some interesting twists to 2020. The Ohio Rubber Group will continue to be here to support our industry in any way possible and while remaining safe. We have booked our Fall outing for October 1st at The Botzum Farmstead. Further details within. It should be a great evening of fun and networking.
The June golf outing went off without a hitch. Jason Huff did an excellent job planning this outing and executing. Many thanks to the volunteers that make these outings possible. We had great attendance and really supported our group for the future scholarships. It was Jason’s last event planning this outing. We thank him for the many years supporting this outing. Leo Goss has agreed to take over the June event planning.
