Course: Rubber Explained

September 24 & 25: Includes the Rubber Explained course, a lunch, and a tour of ACE Laboratories
On Tuesday, Sept. 24, the Course will be from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn, Twinsburg. Lunch is included. (Then stay for the ORG Technical Meeting.)
On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the Tour will be from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at ACE Laboratories
Course Overview: This course was designed for sales and executives working in the rubber industry. Centered around practical explanations and basic fundamentals, this is the perfect course for the non-technical individual. The course will cover the following topics:
– Key raw materials used in rubber compounding
– What a rubber formulation looks like
– Costing a rubber formulation
– Types of mixing processes
– Types of fabrication processes
– Interpreting a test specification
– Interpreting test results
– Basic testing methods
