Good day Ohio Rubber Group Members.
The 2022 June Golf Outing, scheduled for June 14th at Yankee Run Golf Course, is just two weeks away. The list is filling up but there is room for more teams. If you are not part of a team but would like to play, register, and we will put you with others and form a Team. Obviously, who is placed with whom will be taken into consideration.
So just that everyone understands, Yankee Run and Terrible Tom’s BBQ need a week’s notice so that they can get their orders in and have food and beverages available at our Outing. So please, please have your registrations turned into Mary (mpuskas@littlern.com) no later than Monday June 6th, 2022. However, consideration will be given to those that register after June 6th.
This leads me to ‘Mulligans’. Yes, we will be offering Mulligans at a price of $5 per Mulligan, but we are setting a limit of 2 mulligans per player. This then implies that we will be offering awards if your Team Wins, Places or Shows. Also, Men will hit from the White tees, Seniors (60 and older) will hit from the Gold Tees and Ladies will hit from the Red Tees.
We still have plenty of holes open for Sponsorship. So if you want to help, please contact Mary.
In addition is our Education Fund Challenge on a determined par 3 (will not be our traditional hole #11). The Education Fund Challenge Hole is used to offer Scholarships for Graduate Students, Co-op Awards for Undergraduates and the ORG Member Scholarship.
So who’s up to our Education Challenge and a new challenge, ‘Beat The Pro’? We are bringing in an aspiring local lady professional golfer in what we are calling our ‘Beat The Pro’ challenge. There is still time to register and enjoy the fun.
My last request is for volunteers to help with our Education Fund Challenge and Beat the Pro Challenge. 3 volunteers would help us out tremendously. Beverages, breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided at no cost to the volunteer. So if you would like to help, please let me (leo.goss@lanxess.com) or Mary know that you are available.
